  • Supporting Actor – Christopher Plummer, “Beginners”
  • Outstanding British Film – “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”, Tomas Alfredson
  • Supporting Actress – Octavia Spencer, “The Help”
  • Original Screenplay – “The Artist”, Michel Hazanavicius
  • BAFTA Special Award: Outstanding Contribution to British Cinema – John Hurt
  • Orange Wednesdays Rising Star (Public Vote) – Adam Deacon
  • Documentary – “Senna”, Asif Kapadia
  • Adapted Screenplay – “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”, Bridget O’Connor & Peter Straughan
  • Animated Film – “Rango”, Gore Verbinski
  • Director – Michel Hazanavicius, “The Artist”
  • Leading Actress – Meryl Streep for “The Iron Lady”
  • Leading Actor – Jean Dujardin for “The Artist”
  • Best Film – “The Artist”, Michel Hazanavicius
  • Academy Fellowship Award – Martin Scorsese

To tally up, 7 BAFTA awards for “The Artist”, including Best Film and Director – which confirms its chances to triumph at the Oscars as well. Or… does it?
