Oscars 2021 – full list of 93rd Academy Awards nominations

Hi Film Folk!

The Oscars 2021 are finally coming our way after a slight delay due to the coronavirus pandemic – and the nominations have been announced!

Actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas presented the nominees for all 23 categories via livestream with Nomadland, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Judas and the Black Messiah and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom all enjoying nominations.

The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday 25 April and the Academy have insisted it will be an in-person event despite the covid-19 pandemic.

The 93rd Academy Awards will be the first to consolidate the former Best Sound Mixing and Best Sound Editing awards into a new Best Sound category.
