Hello Film Doctor friends.
On Wednesday, we shared some filmmaking tips from Director Kimberly Peirce and with “Carrie” v.2013 officially out in the UK cinemas today (29th November), the Film Doctor team once again turn to Ms. Peirce – this time for a list of favourite films.
Here is what Kimberly has recently shared, in an interview for the KAMP Student Radio, University of Arizona:
- “The Godfather” (1972, dir. Francis Ford Coppola) – “is my all time favorite movie in some ways only because I can put on any hour of the day in whatever setting and I love but, I have to say that I really am a lover of film and I could name you thousand movies that I love so I’ll say The Godfather is certainly a favorite”
- “Chinatown is a favorite, Raging Bull is a favorite, The Shinning is a favorite; The Omen, Rosemary’s Baby, Ugetsu Monogatari … I could keep going.”
